2023 Audi A6

In an industry that’s dominated by dramatically designed vehicles, the Audi A6 is a refreshingly reserved option that prioritizes polish over flair. That isn’t to say this midsized executive sedan is devoid of character – quite the opposite in fact. The A6 is a benchmark in style and sophistication that has the driver’s best interests in mind.

It’s the same luxurious four-door that it’s always been, with added standard equipment for model year 2023. The high-end Prestige trim now gets an automatic parking system, while the Convenience Package is upgraded with adaptive cruise control and lane guidance technology.

Trims, Powertrains, and Fuel Economy

The trio of choices for the 2023 A6 are called Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige. Audi offers a choice between two engines, both of which use a mild-hybrid system to optimize fuel economy. The 45 TFSI is a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder (261 hp and 273 lb.-ft. of torque) and the 55 TFSI is a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 (335 hp and 369 lb.-ft. of torque). The 45 TFSI is only offered with the Premium and Premium Plus, whereas the 55 TFSI is optional for all trims. A seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission manages the gears for both engines, and all-wheel drive comes standard. The EPA-estimated fuel economy for A6s with the 45 TFSI engine is 24 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway; with the 55 TFSI, it returns 21 city/30 highway.
