2025 Audi Q4 e-tron

Audi has updated the Q4 e-tron with significant performance improvements for 2025. The rear-wheel-drive Q4 45 e-tron gains 81 horsepower over the 2024 Q4 40 e-tron, dropping its zero-to-60 mph time by 1.6 seconds to 6.3 seconds. The all-wheel-drive Q4 55 e-tron pours out 335 horsepower and completes the zero-to-60 dash in 5.0 seconds. Both powertrain options benefit from enhanced charging capabilities at up to 175 kW.

Trims and Powertrains

The 2025 Q4 e-tron lineup consists of three trims – Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige – and two available powertrains. The Q4 45 e-tron is the rear-wheel-drive version, producing 282 horsepower via a single electric motor. It’s available in the Premium and Premium Plus trims. The Q4 55 e-tron adds a second motor for quattro all-wheel drive and bumps the total output to 335 horsepower. This dual-motor version is offered in all three trims.

Both versions use an 82-kWh battery pack that supports DC fast charging at up to 175 kW, allowing a 10% to 80% recharge in about 28 minutes under ideal conditions. The Q4 45 e-tron achieves an estimated range of 288 miles, while the Q4 55 e-tron is rated at 258 miles. Behind the second row, cargo space measures 24.8 cubic feet, expanding to 53.1 cubic feet with the rear seats folded. Towing capability comes in at 2,200 pounds for the Q4 45 and 2,650 pounds for the Q4 55.

Standard Features and Major Options

The Premium comes with a long list of standard features, including a power panoramic sunroof, leather-trimmed seating surfaces, heated front seats, tri-zone automatic climate control, LED exterior lighting, and a power tailgate. It also has a 10.25-inch Audi Virtual Cockpit Plus display, heated power side mirrors, wood trim, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, ambient cabin lighting, and 19-inch alloy wheels. The available Premium Convenience Package adds functionality with items like a hands-free tailgate, a driver’s memory system, power-folding mirrors with integrated projectors, a power-adjustable front passenger seat with lumbar support, wireless device charging, sound-dampening front windows, an alarm system with motion detection, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror.

Building on that, the Premium Plus includes everything from the Premium with the Convenience Package, plus a heated steering wheel, expanded ambient lighting, and upgraded cargo-management features. At the pinnacle of the lineup, the Prestige introduces advanced lighting technology, such as matrix-design LED headlights, and adds an augmented-reality head-up display, headlight washers, and animated headlight and taillight features.

All three trims are eligible for the optional Cold Weather Package containing a heated windshield and cabin heat pump. The Q4 55 e-tron Premium Plus and Prestige are also available with the Sport Package, which includes a lowered sport suspension (by 15 mm), front sport seats, a rear stabilizer bar, exclusive interior accents, a top-and-bottom flattened steering wheel, and 21-inch wheels.

Advanced Driver-Assist Technology

Every 2025 Q4 e-tron includes a suite of advanced driver aids, such as forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control with lane guidance, traffic sign recognition, and automatic high beams. All trims are equipped with front and rear parking sensors. Additional standard safety features include an array of airbags, stability control, traction control, and a rearview monitor.

Infotainment and Connectivity

An 11.6-inch centrally positioned touchscreen anchors the MMI infotainment system. Navigation, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and Bluetooth are standard. SiriusXM satellite radio is included with the Premium Convenience Package and is standard on the Premium Plus and Prestige. The Premium gets the base audio system with ten speakers, while the Premium Plus and Prestige upgrade to a Sonos setup. Every Q4 e-tron is set up with access to Audi connected services, which include remote vehicle functions, vehicle status monitoring, and emergency support.
