2025 Audi RS Q8 performance
Audi's most powerful production combustion model.

The performance credentials are substantial: zero-to-60 mph acceleration drops to 3.4 seconds, and the top speed reaches 190 mph. That’s high-end sports car numbers wrapped in crossover packaging. To support the additional engine output, Audi has made chassis improvements, including adaptive air suspension and active roll stabilization as standard equipment. New lighting technology, wheel options (such as available 23-inch rims), and design packages provide additional personalization choices.
On this page we look at the flagship 2025 Audi RS Q8. The other nameplate variants, the Q8 and SQ8, are covered on individual pages.
Mechanical Specs
The 2025 RS Q8 comes in a single highly equipped trim package with a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine making 631 horsepower. The standard Quattro all-wheel drive is managed by an eight-speed automatic transmission. The fuel economy ratings as estimated by the EPA are 14 mpg in city driving and 20 mpg on the highway. Cargo volume ranges from 32.96 cubic feet behind the second row to 60 cubic feet behind the first row. Thanks to its robust V8 power, the RS Q8 can tow up to 7,700 pounds.
Standard Features
All-wheel steering, adaptive air suspension, a sport rear differential, and 22-inch wheels with summer tires reinforce the RS Q8's performance credentials. On the luxury side, this crossover has a panoramic sunroof, Valcona perforated leather upholstery, the extended leather package (coverage on the instrument panel, door armrests, and center console), heated and ventilated front seats, a hands-free tailgate, four zones of automatic climate control, matrix-design LED headlights, and OLED taillights. Its other standard equipment includes a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a power tilt-and-telescoping steering column, proximity keyless entry, dual oval exhaust outlets, roof rails, sliding rear seats, ceramic brakes with gray calipers, stainless-steel pedals, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and LED ambient cabin lighting.
Buyers can select from numerous option groups, including design packages. The Executive Package will furnish heated rear seats, a head-up display, power soft-closing doors, dual-pane acoustic side-window glass, and additional driver-assist technologies (covered in the next section). The Luxury Package consists of massaging front seats and a black Dinamica headliner.
Advanced Driver Aids and Safety Technology
The RS Q8 features the latest advanced driver-assistance systems, including forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane guidance, adaptive cruise control, a surround-view monitor, and automatic high beams. The Executive Package adds intersection assist and semi-autonomous parking support. A complete set of airbags comes standard, as do stability control and traction control.
Infotainment and Connectivity
The strategically placed dual-touchscreen system provides convenient access to the infotainment system in an upper display. The lower unit hosts the climate controls and can accept handwritten inputs. Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, SiriusXM satellite radio, Bluetooth, and a 17-speaker Bose sound system are integrated into the platform. The standard Audi Connect services include Wi-Fi hotspot capability, navigation, and access to the Audi app for remote functions and other features.
