2025 Audi SQ8

For 2025, the SQ8 embraces last year’s dramatic restyling that featured revised front and rear fasciae and advanced exterior lighting. Audi also includes traffic sign recognition and upgraded interior lighting for an enhanced cabin experience. Trims and Powertrain

Audi has two trim levels for the 2025 SQ8: the Premium Plus and the Prestige. The powertrain unites a 500-horsepower, twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 with an eight-speed automatic transmission; quattro all-wheel drive completes the big picture mechanically. This specialized variant of the Q8 is also differentiated by performance-oriented features like all-wheel steering and a sport-tuned adaptive air suspension.

With the proper equipment, the SQ8 can tow up to 7,700 pounds. The EPA has estimated the fuel economy for both trims at 15 mpg in city driving and 21 mpg on the highway. Cargo space starts at 33.7 cubic feet behind the second row but can be expanded to 60.8 cubic feet by folding down the rear seatbacks.

Standard Equipment

The SQ8 Premium Plus has comes with a panoramic sunroof, Valcona leather upholstery, heated front seats, leatherette coverings (on the dashboard, console cover, and armrests), quad-zone automatic climate control, a power tailgate, LED exterior lighting with matrix-style headlights, and a power tilt/telescoping steering column. Its other standard amenities include the Audi Virtual Cockpit Plus (a 12.3-inch configurable driver information display), proximity keyless entry with push-button ignition, sliding rear seats with 40/20/40-split folding seatbacks, quad exhaust tips, aluminum roof rails, heat-insulating side and rear window glass, and 22-inch wheels. The optional Executive Package will add heated and ventilated front seats with power lumbar controls, heated rear seats, power rear side sunshades, a manual tailgate sunshade, dual-pane acoustic glass for the side windows, and upgraded cabin lighting.

The equipment list for the Prestige starts with everything the Premium Plus with the Executive Package and adds LED headlights with laser-light high beams and OLED taillights. The Luxury Package is optional for buyers who want a black Dinamica headliner and expanded leather treatments on the dashboard, upper doors, center console, and armrests. Both trims are eligible for the S Sport Package, which adds active-roll stabilization, a sport rear differential, and red brake calipers.

Advanced Driver Aids and Safety Technology

The driver-assistance technologies found in the 2025 Audi SQ8 consist of forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning with emergency assist, adaptive cruise control with lane guidance, traffic sign recognition, and a surround-view monitor. Both trims also get a set of airbags, anti-lock brakes, stability control, traction control, and a rearview monitor.

Infotainment and Connectivity

A 10.1-inch touchscreen serves as the command center for the SQ8’s infotainment system (there’s also an 8.6-inch touchscreen for the climate and secondary controls). This MMI platform includes wireless Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, SiriusXM satellite radio, and Wi-Fi hotspot capability. Access to Audi connected services is included as well for navigation support and emergency assistance. A Bang & Olufsen sound system is installed in both trims.
